Step 1. Start by clicking on transfer.


Step 2. This opens up options to deposit or withdraw. This guide focuses on depositing money. Start by deciding on the dollar amount to deposit. Enter the dollar amount in the provided box. To change the amount, simply type the desired number.


Step 3. Next, decide from which account to which account the deposit will be made. The default setting ensures the deposit goes to your bits of stock brokerage. Change the account for transferring money if needed by clicking on the desired account.


Step 4. If needed, add an account by clicking on add account.

Choose between a savings or a checking account. Then, fill out all the fields by entering the account holder name and the bank, followed by the account number and the routing number. To ensure correct account verification, make sure the account holder name matches the brokerage portfolio name.

Once everything matches, click on add account. If not adding an account, press cancel. Adding an account can take from a minute to one business day, depending on the bank.


Step 5. If you wish to delete an account, simple remove it.


Step 6. After ensuring the correct accounts are selected, review the transfer. Click on review to do this. Review the amount, the account from which it is being deposited, and the account to which it is being deposited. A short transfer summary is also available. To edit the amount, click on edit on the top left corner. Change accounts or the amount if needed.


Step 7. Once everything is ready, press submit deposit to initiate the deposit.


Step 8. After initiating the deposit, review the deposit and its time frame, estimated to be between three to five business days. The money can then be used to trade and withdraw. After reviewing everything, press done.


Step 9. Go to the portfolio page and check the account history to see the initiated deposit. The deposit should be pending. This guide shows a successful deposit of two dollars.
